FAQ

  • What is Cedars Café all about?

Cedars Café is a chef-driven, sustainability-focused restaurant located in Melbourne, Florida. For over two decades, we’ve been crafting globally inspired dishes rooted in Lebanese heritage and powered by zero-waste cooking. Every plate tells a story — of culture, creativity, and care for the planet.

  • Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Absolutely. Many of our dishes are naturally plant-forward, and we take pride in offering vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that don’t compromise on flavor or texture. Our team is happy to guide you through the menu and customize your meal to suit your needs.

  • What is the Chef’s Table experience?

Our Chef’s Table is a personalized dining experience curated by Chef Toni Elkhouri. Each menu is tailored to your tastes, allergies, and dietary preferences — from book club dinners inspired by stories to anniversary menus that recreate favorite memories. You’ll enjoy a multi-course tasting designed just for you and your guests.

  • Do you take reservations?

Yes! Reservations can be made directly, on the phone or through Resy and starting this fall, American Express Platinum members can use their quarterly credits toward dining with us. Walk-ins are welcome, but we highly recommend booking for weekend service

  • Where do you source your ingredients?

We work closely with local farms, fishermen, and producers throughout Florida, focusing on seasonal ingredients and full-use cooking. Our zero-waste approach means every stem, peel, and scrap is used to create sauces, broths, and oils — nothing is wasted, and everything has purpose.

  • Do you offer catering or private events?

Yes. From intimate dinners to large gatherings, we craft customized menus for every event. Our catering reflects the same culinary philosophy as our restaurant — vibrant, sustainable, and globally inspired. Reach out through our Contact Page to start planning.

  • What is Sustainable Shenanigans?

Sustainable Shenanigans is our digital extension — part journal, part kitchen lab. It’s where we share recipes, podcasts, and ideas that help home cooks turn kitchen scraps into flavor and creativity into impact. Because you don’t need a farm to save the planet — just a cutting board.tion goes here
